CORES

The Center for Innate Immunity and Immune Disease is organized into 6 cores. Four research cores, or areas of research expertise, that support basic science discovery and translational research. One Education and Outreach core and an Administrative core.

Leadership is the key to the success of the CIIID.

The Educational Core is committed to advancing education in innate immunity from the earliest stages of learning to the the most advanced.

Assembling and integrating enormous volumes of research data is fundamental to increasing our understanding immune function.

The Signaling and Human Cell Transgenics Core provides a range of modified cell lines and signaling assays for use by CIIID members.

This Core provides CIIID researchers with transgenic mice which have mutations in innate immune genes or adaptive immune genes linked with specific immune diseases.

The Translation core brings basic discoveries in innate immunity forward into preclinical development.
